In 1932, a young explorer named Alexandre Valembois, accompanied by his native companion Antonio Álvarez, sought to establish his reputation by delving into the enigmatic Amerzone region. During their journey, they formed a bond with the local inhabitants and witnessed a peculiar ritual centered around a colossal egg belonging to the legendary white birds. In a moment of betrayal, Alexandre, eager to validate the existence of these birds, deceived the natives and absconded with the enigmatic egg. Unfortunately, upon his return to France, his accounts and journals detailing the Amerzone were met with skepticism.

Now, sixty years later, the world has undergone significant transformations. The aftermath of World War II lingers, while the Amerzone remains shrouded in mystery, its access restricted by its tyrannical leader, Antonio Álvarez. Monsieur Alexandre Valembois, now an elderly man nearing the end of his days, resides in solitude within a lighthouse, yearning to atone for his past transgressions. It is during this time that a young reporter arrives to inquire about Alexandre Valembois's remarkable adventures.
