In the year 2040, a Kessler Syndrome event occurs, disrupting seventy percent of international communication satellites. With the USA and Russia teetering on the edge of conflict, war finally erupts in 2042, and players step into the fray to play a pivotal role.

What’s New and What Stayed the Same?

- The Plus system allows players to upgrade weapons on the fly, offering more flexibility.
- Classes, now called 'specialisms,' have undergone a massive overhaul, allowing players to explore any skill tree.
- Extreme weather effects, carried over from the previous game, include tornadoes and sandstorms, affecting visibility.
- The game features three main gameplay modes: All-out Warfare (Breakthrough and Conquest), Hazard Zone (multiplayer co-op), and support for up to 128 players in two teams of 64.
- Autonomous vehicles are introduced, and players can request airdropped vehicles as needed.
